Knee pain

My knees have been bothering me when I lie down at night to go to bed. Maybe my knee support pillow is too high? I guess I should experiment with turning it onto its side. But right now I am not in bed and my right knee is hurting really bad, radiating up into my quadriceps. I just took a meloxicam and I hope it works. It's that kind of pain where you feel compelled to keep moving the leg around to find a more comfortable position, but no position stops the pain.
