WRT Covid-19, I am just not sure where to draw the line in terms of going out to public places. We have 12 confirmed cases in Houston right now, and there will almost certainly be more.
At the moment we're thinking "Don't go to places that will be crowded or high-traffic." So B called off his birthday bowling, and we skipped gong to a show at Rudz last night. We've stocked up on groceries so we can avoid the grocery store for a few weeks, and if things get bad we can avoid it for a long time. But I'm still planning to go to Stitch & Bitch, because it's never crowded. I'm still planning to go to Tai Chi unless it gets cancelled. We will probably still swing by the coffee shop occasionally.
In a few weeks or a month I think we will know more about how bad this is going to get here. The true mortality rate is probably far lower than the world currently believes. I don't carry hand sanitizer in my bag, but I wonder if I should take some wipes to S&B to wipe down the table. Stuff like that.
