Our projector has been giving us the "replace bulb" warning for a few weeks now, and last weekend the bulb actually popped. The new bulb came today, but when B tried to change it, he found that the exploding bulb had embedded hot shrapnel into the control board of the projector. He wanted to buy a new projector right away, but I suggested that he first see if it could be repaired. He called Benq and they are sending us a mailer to send it to them for repair. It will be $85 plus parts. So, less than buying a new one. But I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a month or more. We will survive, but the projector was making quarantine easier.

In addition to that, the dishwasher died this week. The repair man came today and said it's a broken timer and he will let us know if he can replace it. I am confident that he can, I just hope we don't have to wait too long. The other day I washed a mountain of dishes and it wasn't as bad as I had expected. I am kind of annoyed that B has not washed as many as I did.

The brake is starting to wear out on our salad spinner and B joked that "they come in threes" and this is the third thing that will break. Thankfully, none of this is disastrous. I am only documenting.
