Orchids erry day.

Best news first: #4 is in SPIKE! I am so excited. I took that pic last week so the spike is even longer today. I am surprised that it's spiking from a not totally mature PB, but I will take any spike. As evidenced by the low number, 4 is one of my oldest orchids and was not in great shape when I got it. It's been slowly recovering and this summer has gone crazy with growth. It's a very robust grower. #4 is my first success story and I'm pretty excited that it's about to bloom. The blossoms look like this and smelled like tootsie roll candy last year, this year they may be more chocolatey.
