It turns out that Lowes has orchid grade sphagnum, the Better-Gro brand, so I bought a little $5 bale tonight. I repotted 19 after dinner. It was very easy since 19 had only one tiny living root in the medium. :( It's amazing that phal has survived! Tomorrow I am going to repot #6 into moss also. I will probably repot most of my phals into the moss for now. Once they are in great shape again I can try something else when I have time to take that on.
14, 28 and 29 might end up in LECA/Seramis. It's funny, most people would rather experiment on NOIDs than on named orchids, but in my case some of my NOIDs are my faves and I wouldn't be able to find them again! These three (along with 13) are all pretty easy to replace. So I may put one of the minis into pure Seramis and see how that goes. There are people in Europe growing phals that way.
Premium grade moss is supposed to last a long time, so in theory I can let these alone in moss for at least a few years, if I can stand looking at it for that long.
