So one of the things I bought this year that is improving my quality of life is an infrared heat emitter. I've wanted one for at least a year but kept putting it off. Hell, I almost didn't buy one this winter because it was February and winter was almost over. But I did buy one a few weeks ago and I am just thrilled that I did. It's seriously helping with my Raynaud's disease and also making me feel truly WARM for the first time since we moved back to TX. Like I can sit here and feel truly warm with this lamp on me.

B is one of those people who always feels hot and loves the cold weather, but I usually feel cold when I am not moving around. A great thing about the heat emitter is that I can sit with it pointed at me and be warmed but he can be just on the other side of me and not feel any of the heat. So we are both comfortable.

Tonight while I was gone he had a nap, and when he woke up he was cold, so he came out to the couch and laid under my infrared heater to warm up.

This is one of those things that I felt like I shouldn't buy because it was just something to improve my quality of life, not a "necessity." But it makes me feel so, so much better than I did without it.

It's a "TDP Lamp" which supposedly means it emits "minerals" and nourishes my qi. I am not convinced of those things, but I sure love how warm it makes me feel.
