On Wednesday night I discovered that Bundor had been peeing inappropriately in one corner of his pen, and it had run underneath the sheet vinyl. Nightmare. So yesterday we broke the pen apart, pulled up the sheet vinyl, cleaned up the pee, disinfected, let it dry, etc. Then I bent and cut the sheet vinyl so it now turns up at the walls, preventing pee from getting under it. THEN we put it all back together. What a PITA. At least now if he pees it won't run underneath, but I am really not liking the inappropriate pee!
He was so good at the litter box and lately he's been pooping near the front door, and on Wednesday he peed on my purse where it was on the floor in the entry. Not cool, rabbit! Realistically, there's only so much labor I am able to do, and we cannot keep him if he's going to be labor-intensive.
While we were working on his pen, we set up a temporary pen in my room. He seemed fine and happy in it, until we left the room to eat, at which point he promptly escaped to come find us. Then later on I made a temp wall to keep him in the kitchen while I was rebuilding. He was happy in there until we left to go rebuild, and a few minutes later he came hopping into my room to see what we were doing. He did that thing where he got all in our faces and examined what we were doing with our hands, hopped in circles around us, etc. He just wants to be with us! Isn't that cute?
